We’re Here We’re Gruyere, Get Used To It Burger
Season 3, Episode 3: Bob Fires The Kids
Oh Oh, Oui Oui! Zis is a perfectly French burger, combining all of ze glory of French Onion Soup with the tastiness of ze All American ‘Amburger. This deliciously seasoned burger is topped with caramelized onions and a hefty dose of gruyere cheese. The bun is slathered in Au Jus before toasting, and for funsies we threw in some little baby gerkins too.
This burger was fantastic. “Restaurant Quality” as my friends put it. Great taste, not too rich, not too complex. Simple and delicious, especially if you love beef and onions.
Sorry for the delay folks, Recipe is below!
Cool news! If you bought the first Steven Universe comic (written by cool guy Jeremy Sorese, illustrated by cool guy Coleman Engle, published by Boom!) you may have seen a STEVEN CHEWNIVERSE page in the back, written and illustrated by me! This is my first foray into Comics with a capital C, but I should be doing more STEVEN CHEWNIVERSE recipes, so I hope you’re ready to make some tasty food with Steven!
Also, you should definitely try an Everything Bagel Dog! I have Sam & our pals Diego, Aaron K., Mike, and Aaron G. to thank for the recipe. Every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving they host Franksgiving, where they make creative/tasty/unusual/forbidden hot dogs. A highly recommended tradition.
File under: Things I didn’t pay attention to the first time around: Dorothy noticing her ex-boyfriend Noticing another dude?
I think I like to ship David Willis’s characters because I am confident he’s not just gonna queer bait us but never deliver. I’ve become so wary about getting my hopes up with most media. Even if a particular pairing in Willis’s work doesn’t end up together, someone else does. I get all kinds of pleasant surprises all the time. I can truly relax and just enjoy things without fretting.
